A Beach Thanksgiving!

Port Aransas was the destination for our Thanksgiving this year. On the big day, we decided to relax instead of cook all day. The day started with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. It was fun because Mom just went to New York two days prior to our trip and saw three of the featured Broadway shows. At the restaurant, most ordered a traditional Thanksgiving meal, I ordered a seafood plate! Jeffrey tasted his Daddy's turkey. One night, the Burris' made deep dish pizza, one night the Golden's made chili and one night the Hopkins treated us to a seafood boil. We sipped mimosas at the hot tub, met Mom's Greek friends on their boat for drinks and appetizers, learned how to make sand castles from the Sand Castle Man, completed a puzzle, played games, and enjoyed each other's company. Brant and I figure we take about 6 times more stuff now than we used to! It didn't really feel like Thanksgiving, but we sure did enjoy the trip. It was a great first Thanksgiving for my sweet baby boy!
