Zoo, Zoo, Zoo!!!

     We went to the zoo every week in April! Great weather and active aminals! Jeffrey loves, loves, loves the zoo and talks about it all the time. The night before and while driving there, we sing "Going the the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo." Anytime we play with, see, read about and animal, he says, "AT THE ZOO!" He even says dinosaurs are "AT THE ZOO!," (I'm pretty sure he thinks the rhinoceros is a triceratops.) Hearing the elephant trumpet made Jeffrey jump big time while in Gigi's arms. It much louder than we expected, even though we had a warning! He loves to tell about the ostrich pooping and anytime we see one, (in books, puzzles, etc.,) he says, "OSTRICH POOP!" I've gotta admit, it is pretty interesting. He connects animals to books, like alligator="snip snap!" I think his favorite animal is the hippo, which happens to be Gigi's favorite too, so when she comes with us, they have fun watching. Jeffrey is very iffy on the carousel, but gets very excited to ride the train and eat a snack after each visit. "Choo choo!"

Easter

     Our Easter celebrations included the egg hunt in Gigi's neighborhood, dying eggs and making and decorating sugar cookies at Gigi's house, church and lunch with Gram and Lolly. After waking, drinking some milk and reading about why we have Easter, Jeffrey discovered that the Easter Bunny made a stop at our house. I told my mom I think this parenting thing gets more and more fun.
