Party, Sick, Doctor...Doctor...Doctor, Sick!

We never know what the day, (or NIGHT,) will bring!

We had a great time at Carolyn and Ryan's 9th Annual Christmas party. Complete with the usual Dirty Santa game, Egg Toss and mustaches! So glad to have such a fun and loving group of friends. Gigi stayed with Jeffrey so we could have the night out!

Sunday morning, Jeffrey woke up with a fever, so we stuck around the house. We missed the Christmas program at church and were bummed about that. I thought it would be an early night to bed after our late night the night before, but no...he was fussy and up all night. We went from couch to guest room to our own separate rooms and rotated all night. Ewww. By Monday afternoon, the fever was gone. Still feeling a little weak, we met Jen and Mom for brunch at Green and shopped around at the Pearl.
Tuckered out! "Portable napping" as Jen calls it

Wednesday Jeffrey had an appointment with the developmental doctor we see just to make sure all is well. He is absolutely perfect, doing everything he should be doing. I had no question, but want to make sure! They think if he's not crawling by 12 months, we need to see a physical therapist, but I told her I didn't crawl until 12 months. He's so close to crawlin', I'm not worried.
With no fever for two days, we went to our Christmas ornament exchange play date. It was great to see our buddies, play and meet some new buddies, one of which is Jeffrey's same-birthday buddy!
Thursday, we went to Jeffrey's 9 month well check. All is well. Very well and growing like a weed. Except, the doctor says he does have a cold. I SURE do hope we didn't get anyone sick at the play date!!!
Today we went to his final helmet appointment. He is now rolling in the night and sleeping on his stomach, so we are officially, officially finished! She said, don't put it back on! Not even in the night. YAY!!! His head is "perfect."

First time he slept on his belly last week!
Second belly sleep! I was excited  because it means the helmet is off for sure!

We found out today that Graham has the flu and they won't be going to Dallas with us after Christmas. Boo. Apparently, you are contagious for 9 days. I have put in a call to our nurse practitioner to see if we need to get J-bird tested for flu because he's still not sleeping well and acting funny. No fever, just not feeling good, not great appetite and not sleeping. I hope that since he hasn't had fever, we're good and will be traveling for our Christmas rounds!
Bonus: My Uncle John sent this picture today and said, "Remembering the good times." Love it. Thanks, Uncle John!
My Dad!
