Jeffrey's 3rd Birthday!

Our precious first born is three! He is such an amazing kid. We love seeing his imagination grow and his thought process blows us away!
A few of his latest:
  • When J sees me putting plates in the table, he runs in to tell Daddy, "Dinner's ready!"
  • After our prayer, we all yell, "YAY, God!" with fists to the air, because that's what they do in chapel at school
  • J asked me if Baby Lee is Baby Ty's brother
  • He got an adorable panda from Gram (from the National Zoo in D.C.) I asked him what his name is and he said, "Panda Lee Burris," without a thought.
  • Dessert is Bezert
  • After telling a story about my Daddy, Doc, he said, "But where is Doc? Can he come here?"
  • Running into the kitchen, "Dumbo flies in this movie!"
  • "Lambie wants some milk from your breast," as he gave me Lambie and I pretended to feed him over my shirt. "No, pull up your shirt!" Like Aunt Katie said, so many changes in his little world!
  • "Your legs are fuzzy." and "You are prickly like a porcupine."
  • Is that chick eating mama's milk? (then we had a good conversation about mammals vs. birds)
  • My baby Ty, (actually he says Bay Ty)
  • He's always so proud to show Bay Ty to friends and adults
  • Halfway through Hannah's softball game, Jeff asked where the hoop was
  • Me: You are fast! J: Yeah, I am So is Lacey. So is Daddy. Me: What about me? J: Umm...you have a baby.
  • J pronounces the "sp" sound like "sk," so we play "I SVY" and sing "The itsy bitsy svider"
  • When Ty spits out his pacifier, J says, "he's all done sucking."
  • "Ty is my brother, Gigi is my girl"
  • If he doesn't want Lacey to go outside, he turns her bell on the back door around
  • "Daddy is in his truck driving his steering wheel...6 minutes before he gets here...It's raining. The sun is going down. He's on his way. It's 2 o'clock. That's when he gets here." He says things like this in the late afternoon when he's ready for Daddy to be home!
  • Ty loves to watch Jeff play with his trucks
  • "Okoh Dokoh" instead of Okiedokie!

Ty got lots of holding and loving on too

He blew out one... candle... at... a... time
He loved it! The next morning we got together to celebrate Jan&Feb birthdays and got upset that we weren't singing for him, so we sang again for him and "for he's a jolly good fellow" too!

Sadly, Brant had the flu, so we spent the night at Gigi's house. The boys got to listen to Uncle John read aloud to them

Jeff held Lee's hand

On Jeff's actual birthday, we attended the dance party at the library and went to Chick-fil-a

He also got to celebrate with his sweet class the day before his birthday at school
With Ms. Adriana and Ms. Tina
