Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with love and family! Jeffrey loves the chicks and eggs, which is what it is about!-new life! He got a flashy, lightening chick from us and a wind up chick from Gigi. He also keeps wanting my chicken timer out of the spice cabinet when I am cooking, (as well as the garlic powder of all things! He will carry the bottle around and shake it for hours!)
On Good Friday, we went to the annual Encino Park Easter Egg Hunt, in which we participated for the very first time! I've been going with Jen's kids for years and it's great to have a participant! It was more like and egg scramble for the crawlers. They didn't really know what to do. Afterward, we went to Gigi's and dyed eggs and played.

On Saturday, we went to Brant's parent's house, where Shari and her family were visiting. Gram was recovering from knee replacement surgery. We had a great visit and got to play with cousins. Sunday morning, the Easter Bunny came and we went to church. It was a great service, but Jeffrey had to go play outside with Brant for most of it. Last Easter, we were still just adjusting. This was a very good second Easter for Jeffrey!

We are finding things in strange places, (my cell phone in the cup cabinet, IN a cup, toys in our laundry basket and shoes in his, and we completely lost his amber teething necklace and had to replace it!) He loves cell phones!
Jeffrey also loves to sing. We sing everywhere too. When we sing the songs/rhymes from the library, he claps and says, "yay!" when they are over. He has been singing since he was about 4 months old, and now he prompts me to sing with his coos. At night, after milk, teeth brushing and a stack of books, I rock him and he starts singing so that I will sing. We sing and sing!
Jeffrey's not walking, but he SURE IS CLIMBING! He likes to climb onto the open dishwasher door, into the bathtub when I am cleaning, on the stereo, pillows, etc! Muscles are getting ready for some serious movement!
 Shootin' some baskets before bed
We got to have Lolly spend the night while Gram was in the hospital for her knee surgery
