11 Months Old!

Jeffrey is ELEVEN months old! People notice what a sweet baby he is and he really is. We are very lucky. He's perfectly perfect, even when he's not. He has such empathy for others. He cries when he sees one of his friends crying and picks up on feelings adults are having too. He is definitely learning how to identify and respond to feelings.

He's pointing at everything now and mumbling more and more...

We've been busy with play dates, library and hanging out with Daddy on the weekend. This past weekend, Jeffrey went to his first rodeo. I only took one picture because we were just enjoying everything, people watching and overstimulated, I guess. We saw all kinds of animals. I think Jeffrey liked the chicks best. The owl was my favorite! We watched dock dogs, swine races and even saw a monkey show. Jeffrey was not happy about being in his car seat on the way home, but also learned he could snort like a pig at the time. He would forget he was fussing and snort, snort, then cry, snort, cry. It made us laugh so hard!

Everyone says it's just mommy brain, but woah-I don't even know where apostrophes go sometimes nowadays! It's embarrassing! There are too many examples for me to even write about!
I've been deep cleaning the house this week. It's really hard with a crawler right behind you! He's tried to stand up using my back while I'm on my hands and knees, slipped in wet spots on the floor, climbed OUT of the bathtub, (where I thought I had him safely playing in his inflatable baby bath,) put his hand in one toilet and pulled up on the other, (I immediately washed his hands well each time!) Ewww! I installed the toilet lock, cabinet locks and fireplace cushion too. He's everywhere! Makes it hard to clean, but I do love having him as my buddy!
Right now, he's chasing Charlie cat around the living room. He's fast, but not that fast!

 First grilled cheese sandwich!

Favorite place to get things down and play while I'm in the kitchen!
Playing with his farm-he likes to put anything and everything in the top or in the hay chute
 Reading in the corner
"Helping" me do the dishes after breakfast
